Vibration and Shock Testing
Our main vibration system is a Sentek M4040A shaker with slip table, capable of performing sine, random, shock and mixed mode tests.
The slip table dimensions are 700x700mm and we have a matching sized head expander.
The capabilities of the system are:
- 40kN Peak Force
- 100g Peak Acceleration
- 2m/s Max Velocity
- 2Hz to 2000Hz
- ±38mm Max Displacement
We also have an LDS V730 shaker mounted to a temperature chamber, allowing us to perform combined vibration and temperature testing.
This is a single axis shaker with a Ø335mm armature.
The capabilities of the system are:
- 8.9kN Peak Force
- 75g Peak Acceleration
- 2m/s Max Velocity
- 2Hz to 2000Hz
- ±25mm Max Displacement
Some of the environmental test standards that we test in accordance with are:
- BS EN 60068-2-6: Sinusoidal Vibration
- BS EN 60068-2-27: Mechanical Shock
- BS EN 60068-2-64: Random Vibration
- MIL-STD-810: Method 514: Vibration
- MIL-STD-810: Method 516: Shock
- DEF STAN 00-35: Test M1: General Purpose Vibration
- DEF STAN 00-35: Test M3: General Purpose Shock
- RTCA DO-160: Section 7: Operational Shocks
- RTCA DO-160: Section 8: Vibration
This is not an exclusive list; so if you have requirements to other test standards, please contact us and we will confirm if we can provide a UKAS accredited test to meet your requirements.
